i think that there is enough time spent at school without homework being set does anyone agree and why?

I think homework is a good idea because even though it is annoying and stressful, it proves to the teacher when they mark it if the class understands the topic that they have been learning. If they get bad results on the homework, they can do the topic again and check for improvements. :)

Being a parent is all about responsibility, I'm afraid. As a parent, you have the responsibility on giving your kid the best start in life, teaching them morals and helping them with their education! It's what every parent wants for their kid. ;)

yes i agree on the parent thing but enough time is spent in skool without sending hours of work home every night

I think it's good to recap stuff and tbh I'd rather have to do my English Essays for c/w for homework. It's easier to think of stuff when you haven't got lots of people speakin' to you.

i cant do homework because i have to do my house EVERYDAY ALL of it no help so i dont get the time to do homework

Supreme if you think ur bad chinese people study from 6 oclock in the morning till midnight on school work so i think we get it easy mate :P

Don't get homework but the government will probs decide to add an extra hour onto school time to make up for it.

orrrrrr get homework and not have that extra hour of looking at a teacher's miserable face :]

Yes, yes, all schools should have homework...Even if you don't like it, they'll never change that.

The thing is, It doesnthurtto do a hour of homework a night.
when you get to your GCSE's you regret things like that and revising.
