At College today, my mates were having an arguement about which is these is better.
I thought I would post it on here, then basically tell one of them to shhh, when I got the full answer.
So,
Guild Wars or WOW?
Comments pls.
WOW is World of Warcraft.
Guild Wars is a lesser known game of the same type.
WOW because of game experience. -100 points for having to pay for online though : (

I play GuildWars because it's free and yet it's still like World Of Warcraft. I'm not paying 9 pound for a game which is close to the same format that's free!!

ID say WoW beats GW all over, GW have better graphics i must say, But in lack of graphics, WoW makes up with the number of player, 10mill now i think. And Zones/Quests, And is still growing, So in my opinion WoW is better than GW. :]
GW because is less known therefore there are not many noobs playing =]

When i was playing, I had jsut started and getting to grips and i was level, like 3 and people were like " Give me gold! "

but heard WoW is better :P
GW is nothing like WoW. WoW - you can fight anywhere and aquire proffessions. GW - You can fight in Guild arenas only and there are only 20 levels as appose to WoW's 70 (Soon to be 80).
You can create guilds on both and have tabards on both. The only advantage of GW are guild arenas. You should'nt base your decision on this as unless you're in one of the top guilds, the hall will almost always be empty.
Take it from me - I host gaming talkshows and GW Vs. WoW has been a popular topic and WoW is much better. If you would like a world wide oppinion check www.xfire.com.
(Please note that these talkshows were on NON-Habbo sites).
Another good buy would be the Orange Box. It comes complete with Team Fortress 2 (One of my favorate MMOFPS). Although you will need a decent computer with a good connection speed and although it only takes 20gb to install, you will need atleas another 15gb spare (un-used) to play it on slightly lower settings than default (although the game is still enjoyable when settings are low).

WoW, WoW, WoW. World of Warcraft is much better, I don't have a reason. It maybe that I am used to WOW, and hate Guild Wars.

Guild Wars is still free no matter what you say about WoW. Tbh, WoW better be better if they're making you pay every month for it when you can get almost the exact same type game for free. It's not exactly 70 levels... and there's always disadvantages of games but tbh, you hear all these stories about people spending about Ž£1000+ on games such as Habbo, WoW and Runescape lmao so yes, I'd prefer not to have a loan before I'm 18, thanks.
Wow as I think I said before will soon have 80 levels, and there's always some new epic to work hard to earn. Consider this; WoW has over 8 million players that pay £7.50 - £10.00 a month. GW on the other hand has thousands of players and is free. Seeing as alot of WoW players have tried GW too, I'd stick to my earlier conclusion that WoW is infact better. The only downside of WoW is that some cities (such as darnassus) are pretty empty at times. You'll always find a few thousand in Stormwind and Iron forge though. It's a much more popular game with a much better interface; there are no restrictions on how many skill you can use without going to a safe point to change them, infact unlike GW the only places on WoW where you are only with your party are in dungeons. Everywhere else (Cities, PvE areas etc) is full of friendly players.
