you have two choices,

1. Click create server and play a map against bots.

2. Click find server and play against others.

I reccomend either playing against bots for a while, or connect to a server that is running the gungame mod.

The gungame mod is a mod for cs: s that makes you all start with the same gun and the only way to get a better gun is kill others.
