Start of another 'super summer'?

Above are two rares which did good in summer 2006 (when all the prices went sky high) compared to our early summer values (2008). Is it me, or does it seem like we're going to have another 2006 summer this year, or something similar.

It's not just with these rares (although I used them as examples as they are the only ones from summer 2006 which have risen much this year/not been re-released since) - you can see it everywhere, previously unpopular, unsellable rares which were the flops of 2007 are rising.

Some of the examples above, were expected as they are old style rares and normally will do good after they have been released/re-released. However, the signs of a rise on the way can always be seen when modern V7 rares such as Pillows, Dragons & Ice Cream Machines are going up, when normally they would be unsellable (as seen in the dreadful summer 2007 market collapse)

Hmmm looks like we could be if theres loads of rares going up.

however, i am epecting some rares to decrease soon.

the throne, atm, seems like more people are trying to sell them (for 60 hcs and over) but less and less are buying them. think they'll decrease soon?

Thrones never follow the general pattern, infact the summer 2007 market crash pushed the Throne upwards and led to it's 40 CS - 60 CS rise as people sold all their supers, normals, seasonals, miscs (everything) for whatever they could get, thus lowering the price of everything so they could get a Throne.

However Thrones always go up and down, they are a very easy rare to get a few CS out of every few days.

Values may get similar to summer '06 but other things wont be, summer '06 was the best...

Against it's current way I think the throne will take a dip to around 55CS and rise back up late summer to around 58/59. Autumn and winter shouldnt have much change so it should be around 60CS, maybe a bit more, for 2009.

I would be very suprised if Thrones didn't hit 70 CS by the end of the year.

I think some people have lost a bit of intrest.

The dip probably wont happen but I suspect them to stay stable and at most only rise a few hcs.
