BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTT!!!

Right, so i've always wanted to set up my own forum, and i'm getting some money into the bank soon & i'm also getting ema money. So, the idea of finally making one came to mind. I'm talking a computing course at college at the moment, so i could learn some more from that i guess.

But, i need just some help & ideas on it. If i did decide to do it, what would be the best things to use, and everything like that? So, i have a better er.. idea of what i'd need if i did go through with it.

+rep for anyone that does help, i need serious ideas & what not, because this is something i really wanna do, as sad as it may sound to some. Thanks in advance.

Yea, i probably shouldn't be in spam, but there isn't any other forum for this. And i really need some ideas & help & what not. THANKS!!

Well, i don't know. I've got £120 to start with, but i get £30 a week, so i'll probably spend most of that on it, nothing else i need.

Yea, i saw on the site. It cost alot to get the license & stuff.

I just need an idea of what i'd need and everything, to see if it would really be worth it.

PHPbb's are pretty good but they are cheap. Cant add arcades and stuff like that though.

That could be a nice start, but if i did set one up, i'd want a radio & arcade and what not.

Maybe its a bad idea.

ok, if you want to make a forum i recomend youstay away from VBs for a while as they can range from £50 to £160.

you should use smfforfree to start

if your thing is popular then move to vb

i run alot of smfforfree form it comes with server, unlimited bandwidth and doesnt cost a penny for anything (unless you buy extras)

its way cheaper

if you wish i can help you if you use smfforfree as im an expert

but good luck making your site and i will def join
