Yes, after a tense 4 and 3/4 hour battle rafael nadal has beaten roger federer.
it was an amazing match and as soon as rafael realised he had won he threw himself backwards, then climbed up to see his parents and uncle, who has coached him since he was 4!!!. He then went to see the spanish royals and received his trophy.
meanwhile a dejected Federer sat in his chair and came to terms with the fact that he had lost for the first time in 65 matches, and that he wouldn't add another year onto his wimbledon consecutive victory streak.
Congratulations Rafael Nadal.
