when is the ps3 due for release in the uk does any1 know? or how much it will cost:cool:
A bloke from Sony said the PlayStation 3 will cost £425 when launched in the UK on November 17.

On play.com the ps3 with 2 games costs £550
So it'll be about £450
in other words its bloody expensive

Not true its been confired at £425 by sony thats why its the price in all the shops
wii is going to be under £180 in the us and £120 in japan

like xbox 360 there will be 2 models 20gb & 60gb

£385 = 20gb (i think)
well anyway ye and it no longer has that awful boomerrang controller woooooooooo

basically the new controlelr is same as b4 without rumble function but it has gyro technolgy so if u tilt it left in a driving game u go left :P and so on i will post a pic asap

The main point of the ps3 is good gfx right well the 20gb model isnt even HD and sony said it wouldnt be released in europe

Thats what gamespot says and seeing as they are a channel in US i should think they know what they are on about. Also media centre hmmmm non HD means non blue ray i guess. *tad off topic*
I really hate sony they steal everything analogue sticks, dpads and now wiis controller.
EDIT:The original PlayStation 3 specs showed the system with dual HDMI ports. At E3 '06, Sony revealed that the 60GB console will only have one HDMI port, and the 20GB version will not have any HDMI ports. At last year's E3, Sony claimed that the system would be able to output dual 1080p video, but the HDMI cuts have effectively eliminated that possibility. The 20GB version also might have trouble outputting 1080p for content-protected Blu-ray movies, and whether the system can output 1080p for games remains to be seen.

Its so obvious its real gamespot dont make things up for fun also it may not say it on the sony website just as there might be something thats not on the governments website thats on the bbc one about the government but it doesnt make it any less true
